No. As far as I know only speakers compatible with heos will do that and only for music, not as rear channels for surround.
Used on Amazon is $749 for carbon. $719 is gone now

Why would anyone pick something over another? Preference. I have no Sonos, don't use iphone so they are of no interest to me. Preference.

That's an active sub and will work with these without an amp. Unfortunately that sub is no longer available but any other active sub would do…. P.S. subs are active.
