I have several EcoFlow units and they are great, but this is a little misleading.

Q2: Can the RIVER 2 handle high-wattage appliances?
A: Yes. The RIVER 2 can power devices up to 600W with our proprietary technology, X-Boost.
*X-Boost can run devices that require up to 600W. However, it's best to test before use.

You cannot run a microwave, or a coffee pot. Not sure what high wattage appliances they are referring too.

This is ideal for a CPAP machine in terms of power outages and camping though.

Ecoflow is a lying piece of shit company. This unit can't even power a small vacuum while EB3A can do comfortably.

This looks good in certain cases. If you buy the solar too it could be good at a camp. You can run a few lights, charge your phones, portable speakers. If you don't have power where you are at it could be ok. But it is really small. Having it as a backup for a particular item is ok too.

Meijer has 3rd party gift card sale this week. You will get 10,000 points ($10) every $50 in 3rd party gift card. I just bought $100 Ebay GC at Meijer and received $20 worth of points in mPerks. MPerks account is required and all the details of GC sale can be found under "Rewards" section (Earn Rewards) in your MPerks account. Maximum points you can earn is 50,000 points ($50 worth) per MPerks account.

Your Meijer store may not carry Ebay GC. One store by me doesn't sell Ebay GC while another store does.

I purchased this same model early this year for $152.00 just a friendly comparison to this current deal.

How is this misleading? They specifically say up to 600w. So are you saying it cannot run a 600-watt microwave? Or did you not know a microwave or coffee pot is more than 600 watt?

It can handle it. Like can it do a coffee maker? I think so. I used mine for a rice cooker, and it worked without x boost. Granted it's like sized for a single meal for a small family of 4.
The problem wasn't handling the load, it was the somewhst small capacity. I went from 100 percent to 15 percent.
It's the super fast charging, USB c bi direction and the built in solar controller that make it appealing.

This will power my CPAP (Airsense 11) all night using a DC adapter for the CPAP power supply. Very happy with it.

How many people know what the wattages are of their appliances?

Even my small microwave is 1100 watts.

Most coffee pots and portable heaters are 1500 watts.

Yet this isn't misleading?

Q2: Can the RIVER 2 handle high-wattage appliances?
A: Yes.

It was a stupid question by whoever posted that. The spec clearly says up to 600 watt. So the question was vague because it does not state what is considered high wattage. If the high wattage appliance is 600 watts, then the answer is yes. As the saying goes, ask a stupid question, expect a stupid answer.
