Obviously worth it for free, but I wasn't a fan of this when I bought it. The bag tossing never felt realistic. I thought the version that is in the Golf + game was more realistic in the top golf building.

It might be the redirect service from Slickdeals. The Oculus and ForeVR sites are perfectly fine and safe. Just Google them or copy/paste the links if you don't trust it.

They just offer extra cosmetic things in game for purchase (microtransactions) like boards, bags, play locations, etc. You don't have to spend anything to play if you don't want to. AFAIK the Oculus/Meta store works like Steam as well, where if you "purchased" the game for free, even if they change the price later you will still own it.


This is also free on Steam, although cross-play is kinda borked. You can play between Quest and Steam without issue but from the Steam user's perspective, Quest players are all "T-posing" and don't animate properly. Quest players will see the Steam user fine but they will have a random avatar.

I bought this game before and returned it. Lol. It's just tossing a ball into a hole. So boring. Funny since all their other sport games are excellent.
