Just get a usbC to hdmi and you're good to go. This has 2 usbc display ports.
Usb-c to HDMI cables can't do VRR tho. You will need some sort of dock capable of doing this. I heard the ROG Ally dock will do VRR but it's also a power dock so I'm not sure how that's gonna work.

I think we know enough about China and alsothe leverage they have over all business. so you can say what you say in full support that's fine. and I am mentioning what I am mentioning so someone can think about, I'm sure someone will. How many Lenovo's do you think are being used by the U.S. government? You want to take a wild guess? and then, try to float some ideas around why. They're also not even sold on military bases, for consumer use. Want to try to take another guess?
Well considering highly classified documents were being stored in a bathroom at a golf resort in Florida, I don't think China really needs much of a back door into our laptops to get sensitive data 😂.

Toss in the millions of Americans freely giving away their data to China via apps like TikTok and your worry about Lenovo laptops becomes even more negligible.

China gonna China just like the US is gonna US (think THEY don't have back doors everywhere?!). Let us ignorant masses buy and enjoy our Chinese made goods…

I have B.S in IT and the amount of objectively bad takes here makes me question if I should ever listen to comments on things that I'm not an expert in.

Anyways besides all of the BS in this thread, how future proof is this laptop for gaming? Full power 4080, I assume you'd probably be able to get 5 years or so of 1080p gaming?

Everyone has a "BS" in IT around here... That's obviously a joke, but just know that a college degree in IT carries no more weight to career tech folks than a college degree in business or philosophy.

Idk man, my first job out of college hired me as a Data Analyst II at $33.00 an hour. I was just trying to convey as someone who has some knowledge in this field that the number of confidently incorrect people in the thread honestly made me evaluate how much trust I put in the comments on other threads.

It's good to take a zero trust attitude towards slickdeals and internet "knowledge" in general. Being confidently wrong comes easily to many folks in daily face to face interactions, put those same people behind the anonymity of a screen and it only amplifies their powers.

tldr: you're not wrong.

Do you happen to know where I could find the 99.9wh battery? I can only seem to find 80wh ones
Nope, sorry. There's not been much yet in the way of parts. Even getting a spare 330W power supply is like pulling teeth.

But only the US government should be allowed to get our data not those bad commie Chinese. As I type all of this nonsense on my Pixel phone that was manufactured in China 🤣
