I don't think this is a good deal. The laptop, imo, is a good deal at $800, and the eGPU is worth $1500 MSRP.

I don't have price history to back up my opinion. Sorry.

Asus recently reduced this graphics dock to 1099.

This is actually a really decent deal if you have the ROG Ally as well because the dock can serve as a dual purpose eGPU for that and the tab. As mentioned above, the $900 best buy deal was for the laptop. This is the tablet (Surface Pro style) and is extremely niche, but a really awesome product. This will outperform any Surface Pro/etc. in every category aside from battery life (obviously having that much performance will cause a battery life hit). Ignore the downvotes, those are from people who can't read deal details and think the laptop is the same as this tablet.

They never put the 32gb ram models on sale and you can't upgrade 16gb model
