Mine has been fine in the sun for years in South Carolina. Multiple 100 degree days every summer with no issue.

For anyone getting one of these - there are MUCH more persnickety about being almost perfectly level. If they aren't first the two doors are misaligned, which is annoying with a vertical shed. But with these, then the lid doesn't fit squarely. Now that's a bigger.problem, because you can have leaks, permanently warping, etc.

It's not a problem with this particular shed. It's inevitable with horizontal sheds given the design. Its not any huge problem, it simple means you need to be aware of it. I found out that a concrete area around a pool was not flat the hard way.

Dumbest questions ever on Slickdeals. It holds anything that fits.
Read the measurements.
Does it....??
Will it....??
Can it....??
No one ever owned a shed before?
I'm not trying to be a jerk but good night

i wouldn't own these in TX AZ or other hot states. I've had some of these for over 5yrs. in CA and they work perfect and very popular and proven out here.

The slightly darker version is also $218 at Wayfair
https://www.wayfair.com/storage-o...10104.html

Almost got a used-like new from Amazon for $206, but someone else snagged it.

I've been looking for a shed to house (not run) my generator. There's a comment on Amazon about someone with my gen just barely fitting which the interior dimensions support. Just a little wary because of the crappy Wayfair return policy. Amazon would be a no brainer for me

Edit:
Bam - darker is 218 at Amazon as well. Ordered

Make sure you measure your trash cans before buying. This thing is too small to hold the trash cans provided by my town.

I have had two of these for maybe 3-4 years. They're nice, but no way I would pay $216 for one. On the plus side, they're super easy and quick to put together and they hold up really well to the weather. Mine have survived at least two hurricanes in North Carolina, and hundred degree weather. They still look like new besides a little staining from grass and pollen.

Yep. I built a crib with pressure treated lumber and filled that with pea gravel. Threw some big pavers I had on top of that to spread the load evenly across a larger area and leveled the pavers. Then I built a base for the shed to sit on the pavers and attached the shed to the base. Not the most beautiful install but my last horizontal shed suffered from the ground shifting over time.

My Costco 27-gal bins are roughly 30" x 20" x 16".
This has interior dimensions 4' 1'' W X 2' 4 1/4'' D X 3' 7 1/2'' H which =~ 49" x 28" x 43"
So you could fit two bins in it, stacked vertically, but it would not be an efficient use of space. You'd have roughly 19" in front of the bins, 8" on the sides, and 11" on top.

If I put ventilation panels on the sides of this and possibly the front doors, could I put two 3400 watt generators in them and run one of them at a time without it melting?
