I've had multiple sets of tires installed at Costco. Never had any problems with damage to my car or rims.

If you did experience any problems, I'm sure Costco would make it right.

This is a great deal.
I love Costco for tires. I've never had an issue, and their replacement/warranty is spot on. I'm not a car guy, and one of my favorite things about Costco tires is Costco has a certain level of product quality, so no matter what tire you get, you are essentially guaranteed a quality tire. Takes the stress out of tire shopping for me.

I don't think the level of hate for Costco tires is warranted here (I've purchased 4 sets from them over the years).
From what I saw, the $80 installation fee is added but then they take away the $120 off so it's a net $40 discount on four tires.

Hey, I can speak from experience with AS3's back in the day, not worth it, they will not last. it is disposable item...
The PS4S's I bought back in 2020 lasted me at least 15K (traded the vehicle in but drove them hard at a track-day event, to which they held up rather nicely). The Potenzas that they replaced only lasted me about 10K miles under "regular" use. The Goodyears will only last me about 10K miles, but they have great dry weather traction.

Do they have Michelin tire deals often? The sale ended and now only Bridgestones have deals….

Yes. They usually alternate between Michelin and Bridgestone pretty much. Not sure if they ever have a time when none are on sale though. The discount amount is pretty much the same every time except for a few times a year I think.

You can probably search 'Michelin Costco' on Slickdeals and see how often it's been posted as a deal and what the discount amount was.
