Are these cheap because because they are trying to get rid of them because they were banned in NY due cancer concerns ?

The chemical byproduct, 1,4-Dioxane, is present in many popular laundry detergents. In recent tests, Arm & Hammer Clean Burst, Tide Original, Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Free & Clear, and Gain Original + Aroma Boost all contained more than 3 PPM of 1,4-Dioxane, over the NY State limit. ..."

...this is rather upsetting...the free & clear was my family's go to detergent for the last 2 years....and we are on well/septic...hopefully our ground water isn't overly contaminated...

Just picked it up in my local Walgreens in NY but the okyclean versions are 27.5oz

I'm sure. Pretty gross these companies make products that sicken and potentially kill their own customers. Plus pollute the groundwater.

Oxyclean versions are 27.5 oz. Says so by description and after you add to cart.

I was noticing that, photo states 36oz, Walgreens site state 27oz. If that's the case target has the 140oz for $12.
