Every day at noon the echo will say "okay, I'll stop making recommendations." That's your "it's noon" bell.
Also, it will stop all notifications for the MAX time available... 24 hours, which is why it has to happen every day. (Don't pick 1AM or something or the mysterious voice responding "I'll stop notifications" will scare the crap out of you.)

Agent said they would apply 25% off my previous Show 10 order in May which already had a 25% discount taken off from my last trade in. Said they processed it but not showing on the order details page. Made no sense to do it this way either. Why not have me place the order then issue a refund against the same order for the 25%. SMH
So will wait it out the rest of the day and see if it reflects or not. I have a feeling they didn't submit the refund as they usually show up when still on chat with reps.

Then the guy said he'd just give me a $58.96 gift card and it would show up in an hour. Then an hour later I got about $50 in credit for items I ordered (which arrived!) a few weeks ago because they "never arrived."
I think my rep was just lazy, and created a backdoor for getting the deal. I wouldn't have done it that way, but it's their rep... Double dipped with the AMEX 15% off (YMMV) with points... and I had $5 from the giftcard bump (main page) and $35 for my actual trade in. $40 all in.
I've very much noticed a deterioration in the quality of Alexa responsiveness/accuracy… and an increase in irritation. Amazon should be counting the "Alexa, Fck off"'s - I'll bet the count is increasing on a per active Echo device basis. Amazon(edit) is frittering away leadership in Smart home devices.
My favorite "Alexa" device? The Tap, ironically a device Amazon refused to even brand officially as an "Echo" device since it did not launch with Alexa listening. And Amazon only did a single generation before dropping it.
Least favorite? Echo Auto (1st Gen). Was pretty horrible at launch, got better with updates, but has deteriorated again over time. Now that the 2nd gen Echo Auto is down to $35, tempted… but not eager to be a victim of "fool me once, shame on you, twice, shame on me".
