3M Super 33+ is rated for up to 600 volts, wide range of temperatures, and sticks very well.

It will not dry out and unwrap.

This duck tape is not automotive tape, but it is a cheap black electrical tape that will unwrap &/or crack.

If you're wrapping electrical wire you want it to stay wrapped and stay insulated.

This will NOT be the AUTO version shown in pic. They mis-represent this. Ordered before and returned it. Beware... this crap is horrible!

I totally agree with the others who rec the 3M SUPER series of tapes. Don't cheap out.

$1.41 with Amazon S&S. Good for padding a delivery to max the S&S discount.

With electrical tape, even the cheap ones, I had the problem that the residue was more annoying while the quality of the tape itself was ok. How about this one?

Cheap tape gets hard over time and the glue gives out and sticks to everything but the tape. Scotch 33+ is the best electrical tape but its expensive. I would never use this for electrical insulating applications.

Do a search on 33 and will find it is most used by electricians and pros. You can feel the difference blindfolded.

33 or Bust! I would only use this stuff for temporary fixes. It will peel, unstick, and fall apart, even left on the roll!! This is good maybe for crafts, but don't use on electrical. The 33+ It's about 6x the price, but it's one and done!

I stopped using these cheap tapes a while ago. Super 33+ from now on.

Life is too short to use crappy tape.

This tape has its uses, For instance, I use it to tie up my trash bags full of trash. Holds great. But if you don't want to burn down your house or car, go with the 3M Super 33+

Looks like the cheapest buy is under $5 at Walmart for the 52 foot roll size:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Scotch...t/39138902

Looks like they sell 66 feet rolls at Lowes for about $7 but Walmart has a shorter 52 foot size so make sure you compare apples to apples since the Walmart run is shorter but cheaper in total. Most home owners aren't going through 66 feet of electrical tape in short order so the cheaper shorter 52' run might be worth it for a lot of people.
