It's a small 1.3 inch OLED on the stand.
34" is VA panel.

Damn Newegg just dropped all these gaming monitors before prime day. The battle is on and I can't wait for the monitor deals next week!

Nice to see you here LOL.

I just did a comparison with our recent Acer XV320QU and I'm actually liking this ASRock PG32QF2B a bit better... It's a VA panel vs IPS, but it still has a better color gamut than the Acer lol. Someone let me know if there's any other reason the Acer should be better.

Notable differences:
  • Specification: ASRock PG32QF2B --- Acer XV320QU
  • Panel Type: VA --- IPS
  • Brightness (cd/m2): 550 --- 250
  • Native Contrast Ratio: 3000:1 --- 1000:1
  • Color Gamut : DCI-P3 92%/sRGB 116% --- DCI-P3 90%
  • Refresh Rate: 165 Hz --- 144 Hz (OC to 170Hz w/ DP)
  • Response Time: 1ms MPRT --- 1ms GtG (MPRT unknown)
  • DisplayPort: DP 1.4 --- DP 1.2
  • Size w/o Stand: 16.66"x28.11"x2.78" --- 16.8"x28.2"x3.5"
  • Weight w/o Stand: 14.33 lbs --- 16.84 lbs
  • Power Consumption: 45-90W --- 65-90W
  • Date First Available: 1/31/23 --- 10/11/22
  • Warranty: 2 yrs --- 3 yrs

Edit: sorry, mobile formatting sucks no matter what I do lol

Edit: The rebate for these seem like a real pain in the ass. Printing out physical documents requiring a written signature, leaving a review on Newegg, making sure all documents/review/billing name and address match, cutting and mailing parts of the box and sending all documents to China...

I have a curved 27" right beside a curved 34". It's nice! The curve also helps va monitors as they have worse off axis viewing.

Mailing address on the PDF rebate form is in California.

But still, nah.

This PG34WQ15R3A or the Dell S3422DWG from Amazon.

Both 34" Ultrawide, similar specs. Both $350

I don't know anything about the ASRock, but that Dell is the most recommended ultra-wide in it's price range.

I ended up going with the Dell. As you said it's highly regarded as one of the best options in this class. I also get 6% back today for Prime day with my Amazon Visa and there is no rebate involved.
