Yes, I remember when laptops weight 20lbs, were 2" thick and still only had a 12" screen and 2hr battery life. Portability requires sacrifices to be made. Smaller usb-c connectors mean lighter laptops, faster peripherals and longer battery life. It comes at the price of being on the "bleeding edge" until all the peripherals catch up.

All of these cheap hubs are the same crap quality. They all use Realtek chipsets and they fry over time or under load. Power saving mode is hit or miss and can cause BSODs. Even when they're working as they should, dont try and use more that 1 or two ports at a time or everything slows to a crawl.
