I have not had leaks in the Duracells I got last fall from Costco but definitely have seen a lot of chatter about that.
Oh, and anecdotally, I have had leaks from every battery I've ever bought from Woot (owned by Amazon), so I don't buy from there anymore.
No other battery that I've used has caused a much damage to my things as Duracell has. I avoid them at every opportunity. Surprised that everyone else hasn't done the same.
