Although there are free monthly codes I decided to do this out pf convenience. I know it works because I did the sportsline deal a couple years back. Think it was something like $5 for 18 months, but this being $17.50 for 16 months after cashback isn't too bad. And it is woth showtime too. Most of the free codes nowadays are not with showtime.

I can confirm that I used the code "SUPER", price reduced to $25 and did not show the Paramount+ Premium subscription in check out. I paid, linked to my already existing inactive Paramount+ account, and I have full access to Showtime and no ads. Good deal.

Perhaps that is the 30 day free trial, unlikely to continue for the duration of the sportsline subscription? I am tempted to try this with the code SUPER but all that is promised is 30 days of Paramount + and I am looking for more.

No one knows what they are actually going to get, but it was worth the risk for me. Especially since this same thing happened last year per reddit, and people had the paramount sub for the entire sportsline membership. Some had to relink it after 30 days, but then it stuck.

Is this deal still active with the "Super" code?

Edit: Gave it a shot and created a brand new account, then hit cancel immediately after creating the account and was offered 4 extra months expiring Nov 2024. Will see in 31 days if the Paramount Plus sub holds.

Thanks for the tip about relinking if dropped after 30 days - I have rolled the dice at $25 and will monitor the connection and try to reconnect if dropped.

As many noted in the thread, the first post made an error when it said six months. Most got four extra months; those who came to it later may have only gotten one extra month. Not something I'd call sportsline about.
