Browsing thru my offers I came across this one here. I do not see any mention of a minimum purchase required OR I just do not see it.

Staples $50 back as statement credit.
To earn credit, click the button above and complete your purchase in the browser that opens. Purchases made through a merchant's app will not qualify for the rebate.

As long as your status shows "pending", then you're in the clear. Even if the credit doesn't post in the 3 months, you can call them up and a regular customer service rep can submit the credit for you. I've been there and done that.
Its only if your status shows as "created" that I would be concerned. However since you have screenshots of the offer and the purchase; you should still be OK since Capital One has credited amounts just based on that alone even if the status says created. Also been there and done that.
I never get confirmation emails from Capital One offers because I have unsubscribed from all their emails. I use the pending status in the log as my confirmation. If you want to receive those emails, check your notification settings.
Thanks for the helpful information and hearing of your past success.

I wrote to the Capital One's president's office a week ago, and got a phone call from someone on the executive team. She was going to look into the issue and said she hoped to have it resolved by the coming week. I had screenshots of every step of my purchase using the C1 link, but did not attach them to my email. I indicated if requested, I would provide them.

(My purchase was on July 7 and the goods arrived from Staples on the 10th. Like so many, the temporary charge disappeared from my online statement and then reappeared on around the 11th or 12th, showing a purchase date of July 11th -- a day after I had already received the full order. My transaction shows as pending in the shopping log, but I never got a confirmation email that my ordered qualified for the $50 back. I really want to know if it was C1 or Staples that has manipulated the process here.

To be continued...
Today is August 2, and I got a reply via DocuSign from Capital One's Customer Advocacy Office. While the sentence below tries to explain what happened perhaps to others, it doesn't quite fit my circumstances, but the bottom line is that they are going to credit $50 to my account soon:

>.We've investigated into your concerns and identified that our system inaccurately displayed the offers rate in your offers email confirmation for the merchant Staples. A statement credit of $50.00 has been issued to your Capital One card ending in xxxx. This will reflect within 7-10 business days.>>
I am thrilled with the result. Hated all the aggravation I went through (as did others), and now I can open the two Staples cartons that have been sitting in my hallway since July 10th!

I emailed three executives, so I am note sure which one triggered the actual response. This is the CEO:

Finally my statement credit hit today. I just called and explained the situation to the rep when transaction posted on June 11. Didn't have to do anything else.

I actually received the statement credit sometime yesterday as well, without having to call or email anyone.

Wow. I went almost a month thinking this didn't work and finally I received my $50. There was absolutely no indication I fulfilled the terms, but here it is

Honestly, cap 1 offers have been hit or miss for me. The giftcards.com offers I've got without issue, others like hilton I've had to call to get. It is nice that you don't need to pay with a capital one card for the most part. When the visa gcs go on sale on giftcards.com I can stack offers from citi & cap one.

Congrats to all who took the chance and waited it out.

I gave up because the status on my end only showed "created", and didn't show pending which made me nervous.

I just didn't have confidence my purchase would qualify even though I took screenshots of every step during my purchase.
