Yeet = throw.
So if you got a cheap bad game as your "gift" you would want to throw the projector
This checked all the boxes until I found out that I'd be about 18" short of where I need to place it due to a strange angle in my ceiling. If it would have fit in the loft, I'd have gone with it for sure, and that was basically at full price (minus Cashback sites/etc).
If you're looking for a gaming projector and don't need UST, I don't know that there's anything much better. The JMGO N1 from Kickstarter is supposed to blow it away spec-wise and is $200 off on Amazon right now, I would absolutely check out a lot of reviews though since it's a new product without a lot of market time.
Movies it had a great picture, good contrast, a great amount of lumens for even daytime watching. I did this without a screen directly on a white wall. At night it looked amazing even without the screen.
Gaming, extremely low input lag so you can 1080p (5ms) and 4k (14ms) game and it would not impact your reflexes.
3-D, a lot of lumens produced great 3-D off course it worked very well at night, not very well during the day. This was with a bluray player .
Had it for about 5 months to play with and I thought it was great.
All that being said I think projectors in general not just this one are currently priced way higher than they should be, I would expect something like this to be under the $1500 mark. I believe I paid around $1600 for it when I got it and I thought that was on the high side of my limit. My rational is that a few years ago we saw plenty of great model projectors right around the $1k-1.4 mark that had almost identical features minus 4K.
I guess inflation pricing is still to blame or its the new normal.

It is a fantastic projector.
All of what the others have said about it being beautiful picture quality is accurate.
Low input lag, great gaming projector.
I went with this one after months of research and if you look online you will not find any other projector close to as many consistently great reviews across the board.
In. My opinion It was worth the $2000 I paid and now that it's basically $270 off I would not hesitate.
I have it on a painted wall no screen. I used kills grey primer paint from home depot for $30 a can with about 4 coats.
Worth it!
But having said that, this thing checks every block for an all around multi-use pj at a great price even at MSRP. With it on sale even better!
