Is this yet another launcher? I assume so because this platform is for buying and then selling games you own. Cool/appreciated concept but are they legit? How easy is it to download and play these games?

I'm interested but wary. Their site doesn't really give basic details of how it all works to buy/sell your games back, so I'm thinking it's another launcher platform to manage. FWIW this game is $5 if you go to kinguin for a key.

Here is a page & video for how the buy/sell works: https://freedom.robotcache.com/sell.html. Merchant is proud to say this isn't a 'grab a key' kind of platform, when you get games on Robot Cache, you will own the game. Giving you the option to sell if you'd want to.

I'd never heard of it before, but AMD has joined them, so I would imagine they're pretty legit.

This game is one of my favorites, but having to sign up with a new place and download another client is a big "Nope" from me.

It's amazing that seems to be everyone's hang up. Personally, it's a pass, but I don't blame anyone willing to setup yet another platform login. For me, I got 2 kids and all their platform logins to juggle along with my own, so it's a deal breaker for me.

Will echo the others; I don't want/need to manage my games through yet another launcher client.

To be fair, I said the same about Epic but I eventually caved because of all the weekly freebies.

Yeah, its a pass for me as well. Between Steam, GOG, epic, amazon freebies, and gamepass that is just too much as is! Especially with kids logins! Also, this is a free gamepass game as well and was a day one add and has never left.

I never did play it in co-op. I have it on PlayStation. I didn't want it to end. I've been curious as to how co-op works. It seems like a weird feature for the game. Is it that good?

It's honestly worth paying for it over installing yet another launcher. This game is worth full price. I'm just bummed it will probably be another decade or longer before we get another; IF we get another.
