No, my 512 died with no warning a few months after buying it.

I've had 3 Lexar cards over the years (they come with GoPro). None have died. But I prefer Sandisk.

I am stuck between SanDisk and Lexar.

In this scenario, both memory cards have similar storage capacities. However, Sandisk has slightly higher read and write speeds compared to Lexar. On the other hand, Lexar is available at a lower price point.

Classical "Buridan's Ass" (read: Buridan's Doneky)" example.

Did you test it when you first got it?
There are a lot of fake cards floating everywhere.

I got 2 512 GB cards recently form a orange site that starts with T and after testing them, they both came back as fake. I got refunded, but it is annoying this scam is still prevalent 10 years later.

The cards work until you hit the real limit and that corrupts the whole card.

For my taste, I'll take reliability over speed any day. The Samsung Endurance Cards are also a solid deal right now.

Fake doesn't apply to Lexar.
The quality and reputation is already terrible as it is.
Only Lexar will insinuate that there are fake Lexar cards floating around.

Samsung's own website has a 512gb evo select for $30 right now.
Same price at Amazon but without Amazon's warehouse shenanigans.
