I ordered nearly $100 in Irwin C -Clamps from Amazon a few weeks ago from 8" to 3" and two deep throat clamps I believe 3" and 4". What a disappointment Irwin has become as their c-clamps are now made in India! India is worse than China for tool production! All the c-clamps looked like they had no touch ups after they were cast and then "dipped" into Irwin blue paint. Rough looking casting covered in thick paint to hide casting flaws! I sent every one of them back and purchased WEN clamps made in China. I am not a fan of WEN personally however their c-clamps look so much nicer than the India made Irwin! Night and day difference! I haven't put the WEN C-Clamps into use as of yet but the finish looks nice.

Can I use it for brake job to push back the piston into the caliper?
the problem depends on the car. some cars have more space than others. also how much brake pad you have left. brand new brake pad 3" might not be enough space.

These do the job, I think the complaint is that these won't last as long as manufacturing and quality have changed. It's still worth buying if you don't plan on using these on the daily basis.

I use a 4" for my 2013 kia forte ex, it gets the job done but still a little tricky with the size. I think a 5" with the old break pad as a flat source to press against on the piston is the best for pushing it in.

Wow! Amazon has done it again with their scaling tricks. I was only interested thinking it was a deep throat version, which probably needs a new name.
