I just hate the way companies use the term ownership or buy when effectively you're just using a license to watch these things strictly through Amazon. No wonder people resort to piracy.
These are good deals I love the movie airplane but I would rather just pay a few bucks for a used DVD. Least there's no digital rights management / DRM requirement that I have to be online with my Amazon account to watch it.
If I can't download something locally to the storage option of my choice, I don't really own it

I just saw Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is the same price on Apple and I believe they let you download them.

You cannot connect a DVD player to your tablet or phone so that becomes a hassle with buying DVD's now.
