Don't use medium, extra soft is preferable!

Walmart actually happens to have a deal on this at $2.84 right now.

This deal $3.22 is the price it's been at for a long time now according to pricing history sites.

It does look like you're right about the price history. But I see $3.98 at Walmart.

Odd maybe it's regional or related to cookies in my browser or something. Sold and shipped by Walmart.com has the $2.84. If I go to order for curbisde pickup it is $3.98.

Correct.

Medium and Hard have little to no (practical) use in your mouth. For scrubbing grime off your bathroom tile? Sure, use it there.

Just sharing my experience, I've been is using firm for over 20 years no cavities healthy gums. I get medium for the kids, also no issue. They use a high speed polisher with abrasive cleaner when cleaning your teeth. I think the dentists "must use soft" is just what they say in case you have issues or don't know how to use a toothbrush, so they can cya. My 2 cents of course, kinda like when they try to sell you fluoride treatment or cancer screenings, many dentists are more focused on profit margin then your teeth.

Thanks OP

This set includes 6 toothbrushes and 5 covers. I don't know why they decided to do the set this way but you always end up with one toothbrush that doesn't have a cover.

Using a medium or firm bristle brush can lead to accelerated gum recession. Most people can't brush without hitting their gums (me being one of them lol).
