Last Prime Day I got the 77 A80J for $1999...I'd hold out for that deal on the A80K

You mean A80L? A80k is replaced with new veraion of L if plan to buy new.

After the bad luck I had with the refurbished 65C2 I got from Microcenter, I think I'm going to have to pass on any future refurb TV's.

No, last model was the A80J. So if we're gonna see another deal like that brand new for $1999, it's gonna be on the A80K since it's last years model.

He mean, in 2022 prime day, he got 2021 model a80j in discount, which means this prime day 2023 it's possible for 2022 model a80k to be in similar discount.

thanks, make sense, actually even before prime day, I saw a costco brand new a80k for 1999 ymmy, I posted a thread on the slickdeals on that.

However, I already pull the trigger a month ago fro 85x90k.
