Why not list all of the guitars in a single post instead of listing each one separately? Same thing they do in other posts when a company has multiple products on sale? I would thing this would help those truly looking for a good guitar deal.

Putting them in one thread won't notify someone of a new guitar deal that is posted and it won't be easy to search for all of the new deals that are scattered in a thread.

Because Gretsch used to be Made in Japan, then Korea, and now mostly China and Indonesia. Does it affect the quality? Yes, and / but it's reflected in the price charged.

Doesn't really matter. They are all
Made by CNC no matter where. The brand quality comes from the investment in quality control.

I have this guitar and paid like $550. It plays like a Gretsch; not Gibson like, Not Fender like. The strings have more of an attack to a note, is all I can describe it as. Or rather a note blooms acoustically due to the chambering, so it pops off with a stronger plunk, than a solid body. At this price, it's a great deal. I also like IYV IJZ300.

I want all my guitars made in the USA by a US-born artisan, who drinks bourbon for breakfast, rides a horse to work and listens exclusively to classic rock music while working. He must wear boots and an American flag bandanna at all times. Otherwise the guitar is literally unplayable.

Or you can search "Gretsch" and deal. 🤨 All this hand holding bull sh!t is annoying. You've been a member since '08. You should know by now.
If you are sick of all the "hand holding" get off the deal sites and go find them yourself. Then you will have no hand holding and can only complain about yourself.

Gretsch still makes its pro line in Japan. The Electromatic and Streamliner series are subsequently lower price points. The Electromatics were made in Korea but have been moved elsewhere in the last year or two. The solid bodies were moved to China several years ago.

There is actually a ton of hand work that goes into a hollowbody. While the cutting is done by CNC, the glue-up and assembly is fairly intensive, especially on trellis braced tops. The fret work on the Electromatic and Streamliner models are especially good for the price points.

What a Karen you are. 2 posts since '16? Troll account. Bet you have a dozen of them. You sound like the Karen who wants them all listed in one post. Tell you what KAREN, sometimes the deals come in increments that don't allow "all in one post." So please, go complain about the kids on your lawn. Clown.

How much better is this compared to the G2420 for $249? Thanks
