Great guitars. I recently got the 6 string for 218 and have been very pleased. A family of four could picnic on the neck. I had been waiting for a 5 string deal and never considered a 6, but glad I did.

Can you explain why you went straight to 6 and how you're glad you did? I read a lot about 5 to 6 being a considerable step, plus not sure I need 6 strings. I use a 7 string guitar and not sure if ever go for an 8 due to neck width

After a week of playing with it, I noticed quite an increase in the strength and dexterity of my ring and pinky on both hands particularly when I go back to my 4 string Sire.

I also do things oddly.. I waited late in life to pick up guitar, bass and piano all at the same time. I have only been playing for a year and a half.

The prime motivation was the price from Adorama. I figure I could trade the 6 string in and put towards a higher model 5 string if I feel inclined... My original plan was to get a midrange Ibanez 5 string model... but it was postponed due to an unplanned MacBook purchase.

if you had added a conclusion, i would have trusted your review more than a chatgpt.

eye balling this. been wanting a 5 or 6 for a while. my drummer and I are thinking of getting back to recording even though were long distance. bass and drums duo and the extra string would be great for those chords and arpeggios. check out buff danny on soundcloud if there are any bass players out there interested!
