This headphone amp single handedly brought my instrument into 2023. You can stream audio from your phone over bluetooth and it outputs from the headphone jack! That means you can play anything on youtube or spotify as a backing track.

I play middle c to tune with and I stream a metronome clicker to play in time to.

I use some old apple earbuds with it and it's ridiculously easy to practice quietly anywhere around the house. I can leave it plugged in and just wrap the earbud wires around my instrument.

Once I found a combo I liked, I just leave it set to that.

It charges over USB C so I can use the same cable I use to charge my laptop, nintendo switch, and vape

$90 is a good price. Cheapest I've seen was $80 even though it was less than a year old at that point

There are buttons for changing the amp, effects, tone on the side of it.
I just hate trying to decode the colors of the lights. It WAS my go to headphone amp till I got my Spark Go. The mustang's battery is still better than the spark though.

Great product but I returned mine …. Sounded so good, I was actually frustrated that it was limited without more options like midi & patches. Awesome practice device but too bad you can't switch patches on the fly.

Yes, you can change patches… but there is no way to change patches while playing. Just saying, if this thing had mini (or BT) you could use a 3rd party pedal and actually use this thing live … unfortunately there are no save patch functions so you have to cycle through each patch/effect sequentially… it's awesome if you just want one patch/effect for the whole song..

Yeah I use the streaming function for backing tracks or playing along with songs from the justin guitar app. I love how the plug swivels, so it can lay flat against the guitar regardless of if the jack is on the front, bottom, side, etc. My only complaint about my spark go is that it's separate from the guitar, so need to use a wire and then headphones to it. But I can use the bluetooth app for the spark and not have to worry about figuring out colors. This is almost half the price of the spark go though, so very nice.

Mine is sitting in a box. It's likely to be there for a while. Sounds ok, but the color scheme controls aren't exactly awesome.

I ended up getting a Boss Waza Air, and it's exactly what I should have gotten to start with. It's a great product!

With nux you can simulate full signal chain and use pedals via mightier amp app.

Though there are many competitors now, some cheaper and simpler, others more expensive with more features, I am happy with this thing.

As others have pointed out, there are buttons on the side you press to select the amp model or effect. At first you have to refer to a chart to figute out the colors, until you figure out which few amps you like the best.

All the amp models sound great. The effects options are limited to reverb and some delay. But with how great the amps soubd you don't really need those additional effects. For example, the EVH amp is already giving you a nice overdrived and compressed sound so you don't need to tweak it.

If you like something simple that just works so you can focus on your playing , then this could be perfect for you. But if you like chasing the perfect tone and customizing your signal chain then you might want to consider other options.

I play bass and I bought this when my vox headphone amp broke. This thing is awesome! For bass, I only use 2 of the amp models, but they sound good. The effects are fun and sound good (I just don't use much for bass though).

I have young kids so I rarely get to use my Markbass stack anymore. This is great for Bluetooth jamming and practicing.

You can use it as an interface to your computer but it does not allow monitoring, but fine in a pinch.

It would be perfect if it has a built in tuner and metronome.

It's a small portable headphone amplifier. It's not meant to be live on a stage. This is not a primary amp if you want to be doing things like changing tones and effects during a set or feeding front of house or pa's.
