It's 1g carb, less than 1g natural sugars, and 5 calories. You'll survive.
Tomatoes being a fruit actually contain sugar naturally ditto for "carmelized onions" ..nothing "they" can do about that.

The label I looked at said 0g of ADDED sugars.

Onions and Tomatoes show up 3rd and 9th respectfully on the Top 15 Vegetables Highest in Sugar

I am fine with the main ingredient essentially being MSG (yeast extract contains naturally occurring glutamate ) but why would they add sugar?

Yeah it's a bit disappointing since I do Keto and this is a pass for me. But a lot of marinades, and seasonings, use sugar as an ingredient. Not so sure it is unusual or anything, just disappointing.

I don't like how they put a serving as 1tsp. Obviously they are doing that because 22% sodium in 1tsp is absolutely crazy. 1tsp of this isn't going to go far at all.

Bruv. "Sugar" is literally the 6th and 5th ingredient (respectively) for both of these products. If that's not added sugar, I don't know what is. What the hell you going on about? 👀

Yeah I mean Mountain Dew would basically show 0 added sugar at 1 tsp. I have a friend that tried Keto for a while and he was covering everything with honey mustard and I was like dude, that has honey in it. "yeah but only 1 carb!" The guy didn't even bother to check how much a serving was. He was using like 10 servings a day and was wondering why he kept going out of Ketosis... I hate when they make serving sizes a size no person would ever use.

This product's advertising is even more misleading in that they recommend using 1 table spoon, not 1 tsp.

hehehe.
Still going to try this at this price but yeah, will be using sparingly.

Nowadays, they add sugar to just about anything.
European people are often amazed and overwhelmed with how sweet American food is...
Their chocolate is much less sweet and actually healthy.

Yeah you really notice when you start looking. Often times they don't call it "sugar" it is corn syrup or dextrose, but it is added in so many things you would not think of and it is frustrating. Why you adding sugar to my lunch meat, cheese, etc?
