    These are a lot better quality (metal) and hold 16 rods total instead of 12 for $20

    I just cut one or two short 3" dia. PVC pipe sections and drill them into the ceiling of my garage. Stick the butt through one section and the tip through the other for longer rods that I don't want sagging. Works great.

    Or I've used the thick cardboard tubes that the rods sometimes ship in... no extra cost for a nice rod holder.
