I bought it today, 08 July. Last time I checked the price in store the yellow shelf label was $175 and I had checkout person scan photo of UPC on my phone and it was $175. That was about 1.5 weeks ago. When I saw the shelf label today I had to do a double take since usually they don't bother changing the shelf labels in my store so having the price checked by checkout person is crucial.
thanks ! I bought tool only at $130 with tax OTD with a hack deal not sure the battery would be worth the effort. Tool is great and removes lug nuts fine.

Worth moving from Ridgid 3/8 stubby to this?

Got this https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../312620593 [homedepot.com]
Reasons to switch are 1) the Ridgid isn't doing what you need it to do, or 2) You are already invested in M18 and you can sell the Ridgid or keep it if you need a backup or 3) You plan to switch to Milwaukee / M18.

Brickseek for my local store shows "clearance" and 2 "on hand" - what do you think? Should I risk a visit, or am I wasting my time and gas? 😃

You really want a 1/2" impact wrench. 3/8 only makes sense for powered ratchets.

Source: I bought a 3/8 impact wrench and wish I had gone 1/2"
Mine will do lug nuts easy

From responses on here it's a 50/50 at this point.
My closest HD is 5 mi, next about 11 mi, so usually easy decision for me.

3 more in Oxnard 93033
Thanks, I was at the Goleta store but the employees are either grossly incompetent or they stashed them. Oxnard store had 2 when I arrived. I decided not to be greedy and left one behind

Thanks OP was able to get one at my HD in KY, 4 left in there. FYI it was not in the clearance section, it was on one of the Milwaukee cages locked up but the clearance price was on it.

First time seeing this but I've been wanting an impact wrench.. $125 is excellent if you can get it.

I might try to make it tonight, or first thing tomorrow morning - Brickseek shows 8 in stock @ my HD and "clearance"

Edit: They had them in stock, but they were only clearanced down to $175. Label showed $175, and it was locked behind a cage so the HD associate verified the price on the spot. Not quite a slick enough price for an impulse buy, as much as I'd love one of these.

GOT ONE!
There was indeed 2 left on the shelf, brickseek was 100% accurate.
Covered in dust and had the barcode removed; HD associate keyed in the number and BOOM 💥 $125!
Thanks OP! Great Deal!
