For these duracell powerboost batteries? Not really.. pretty similarly priced per battery, actually.

If you're referring to Kirkland, sure, they're a good bit cheaper... but not everyone needs so many batteries in one go, and not everyone has a costco membership.

TYVM! I actually had to salvage some AAAs out of a TV remote last night for my flashlight, and I was planning to go buy some tomorrow.

I DO NOT recommend Duracell as every pack I've purchased leaked. Latest ones from Costco was guaranteed 10 years but leaked after 4 years of storage from my experience. Never again. And I never ever had issues with any other brand not even those generic ones that come with electronics.

I hate duracel batteries, specially the AA and AAA size. These things leak and ruin electronics. I have a costco membership and get the bulk Duracel there. There is nothing that has escaped from the leakage of these turds. I will not buy duracel again. I am sorry for the rant but it is true because I have had ikea batteries in my TV remotes that have been there for almost 2 years and still going strong no leakage but I just had to junk a brand new flash light , a wireless mouse, and a soap dispenser because of these turds. Buy panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries and never look back.

I ordered these and the AA's but like others have said I've been noticing a lot of leaks on Duracell's here lately, seems they have gone downhill. I've always kept some on hand and used to swear by the in the old days but starting to have second thoughts on them!

100% PURE JUNK. I hope costco pulls this crap off their shelves.

Just in time, literally pulled out yet another pair of leaky Duracells tonight from my milk frother. Luckily these didn't completely destroy it, but boy here's a discount to give Duracell another shot at it…. Nope.

Seriously, I've given up on even buying the constant "free" ones at Office Depot, shocked anyone would pay for Duracell. Ive bitten the bullet and only use Eneloops which have never leaked and still hold up even a decade later.
