Same here. I just plug it into the outlet
great shaver, but definitely has a weak battery. I ended up breaking it down and replacing the battery with a higher output battery. it's relatively simple to do by following videos on YouTube.
It does.

Fwiw.. I bought and learned how to cut my own hair with a Wahl clipper and some guides.... It's really not that difficult. Mine plugs in the wall and other than needing a very minor adjustment once and occasional oil has worked awesome for 3 years. Got sick of long hair during COVID.... Can't believe I paid someone 25 bucks 2x a month when the clippers were only $25.xx...

Had mine for about two years, used about once a month for a shaved head, battery stopped holding a charge. Would not purchase again.
Must be a Remington clippers thing. I've had my Remington Vacuum Clippers since 2017. Battery gave out in less than 1 year. Clippers still work plugged in. I also clip my hair about once a month.

Someone I know has the exact same vacuum clipper. The battery died in theirs also little over 1 year of use.

I have one. Got it on sale 6 years ago for $36. It sits in a drawer in favor of my Norelco HC7452 which uses one guard that can adjust from 1mm to 23mm. This means I can give myself a haircut that doesn't look like I'm ready for boot camp.

**I didn't read through 11 pages of posts so I apologize up front if this is a repeat**

I used and liked the Remington until battery died and then charging cord eventually broke from flexing, so it became totally unusable.

I bought this one for $30 and really like it:

It has a straight blade, which I like much better than the curved blade on the Remington. Battery has been good for over a year now. It has saved me a ton of time and money and I consider it basically disposable for the cost.

Great price. I've had mine for 5 years and still runs like a charm. At one point I thought the battery was dying, but it turned out that it just needed a good cleaning. I took the it apart and cleaned all the clogged hair out from inside after about 4 years of use and it runs like new.

I bought one in 2017, when I started buzzing my head.
I do no use any guides, just the blade to my head.
While it cuts short, I wish it would cut closer.
Overall, I like it.
I think I have a couple of YT videos on this.

I have been shaving my head for 25 years. Bought one a few years ago. Used it for about 4 years when the battery failed. I contacted Remington directly and they issued me a full refund.

I purchased a pair of <$20 "dog clippers" for my long-haired cat, and the cat is terrified of them, so I never even got near him with them. On a whim, I tried them on my head and facial hair, and they are WITHOUT A DOUBT, the best clippers I have used across my years of shaving my head.

Can not recommend these clippers enough. Cheap, light, holds a fierce charge.

I bought this one back in 2017 and I still use it. Battery is marginal now but it's still about enough to get through one haircut. I use it to cut my son's hair as well. Haven't had any pieces break either. I paid $25 for it back then. $30 is great for 6 years later.

How well this works for some that shaves twice a week? I like to keep my head shaved but man every trimmer I used just didn't delivery what it promised and I spend too much time shaving.

Recommendations are welcome for any alternatives.

Mine has worked for about 4 years, only think is the rubber part that covers most of the outside starts to peel off and curl up.

Best razor I've ever purchase. Curved blade means no longer need to have someone confirm I haven't missed any spots. Mines going on 4-5 years and is holding strong.

For the people saying it stops working, I advise running it in the shower. The moment water hits the blades it goes full speed. I know I was concerned when it would lock up and not work, but I've found it needs to be wet to work.

Mine is also from 2018, and still kicking (when wet)

I had this once. It's good for a wide range but sucks in battery and cutting. Sometimes it cuts but then pulls back.
