Hmmm, I didn't realize I had to spread misinformation on an item, from a clueless 'reviewer', to make me fun at parties.
I just have to check out these threads every time a cast iron gets posted, this one in particular as I've bought this set 3 times for around this price or cheaper, for me my mom and my sister.
Maybe it's just me fighting the ghost of that $200 Le Creuset cast iron someone passed on to me that I ruined and gave to goodwill because I thought it was busted and rusted over out of nowhere...but once you learn cast iron is cast iron, half the fun is making a cheap skillet sing.
Really, it is just a matter of having knowledge about how cast iron work. Just how to season, and never letting water dry on it (if you ever put water on it at all).
With a good seasoning, these are rock solid. Great for grilling onions and peppers on the side, an egg, toast, even used one to smash a burger in a pinch. Also amazing for baking, making something akin to a pizookie/giant cookie, or a small cornbread.
Just always a shame these things will get invariably downvoted and buried or get bad reviews, but I get it, I was once right there with them.
Sounds like you need to read up on cast iron skillet use.

Buy the Mainstay skillets from Walmart for $10. I've had mine for a year outside in my grill and it never rusts. If you have Walmart+ you can get it shipped to you free or pick it up locally if you don't. Beats a trip to the mall, and it's a pretty heavy sturdy skillet. Comes preseason as well. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainst.../305816039

They were making fun of someone that posted a review, followed by "oh mary". All that was missing was a facepalm gif, but I guess nuance is lost in translation for the majority.
this product is of poor quality. It becomes rusty after 2 to 3 washes. I wish I could return"
oh Mary.
edit- relax guys. this is a review on Macy's site in case the quotation marks are too small for you to see
It's troubling that the majority of people are so illiterate that they misinterpreted your post as an actual review. I guess spelling things out for people really isn't enough.

Sounds like a Dawn user. Cuts grease! LOL
I picked up some "Chainmail" scrubber and it is awesome for cleaning these. Also, if you are adventurous, sanding these down to a smooth finish is really nice before curing.
Every cook needs a few cast iron skillets. They are indestructible. Get a scraper but on occasion you may need to soak, wipe, season. BUT for many tasks that can damage you other pans, these are a go to…frying, searing steak to oven broil, kids using pans who don't know how to cook, etc.

6 inch is tiny (that's what she said), borderline useless for normal cooking. Good for like 1 single grilled cheese or burger.

So you never use water to clean?
You do use it. You just don't let it stay on while it dries. You dry it immediately.
