This also qualifies for the Amex 50% off up to $80 promo. I applied $5 in points and got this for $170 (full $80 off from promo). That makes this an absolutely insane deal.

Basically, if you have your Amex card on Amazon and you have tied your MR points so you can purchase with points, you can spend 1 point and get 50% off (up to $80) on an item sold by Amazon.

Here's a link from Amazon itself, but for some reason it seems broken: https://amazon.com/amexoffer

Got this trimmer a few weeks ago. The PowerLoad is nice, but the Line IQ is where it is at. Saves a bunch of time for me.

Thank you for posting this. I got a 40% off up to $60 max which is still very appreciated with just 1 MR point. Also managed to burn up a $5 promotional code from a $50 amazon gift card purchase and needed a trimmer to go with the rest of the EGO gear.

Happy to help! As you said, even $60 off is a killer deal when stacked with the original discount.

That's exactly why I want it. I spend a lot of extra time because my rocks and fence and curbing chew up the line and I could move much faster if I never had to deal with the line being short. I'll probably chew through more line, but line is cheap.

Excellent timing! We're closing on a house at the end of this month, and we were looking at the model below this (2.5 Ah) for basically the same price!

Yeah, I'm the same. Have a ton of wire fence and pavers. If I actually used the bump feed as much as I should, I'd probably be doing it every 10 feet. This probably cuts my time by 1/3 to 1/2

Dang. Sorry. Not sure how they choose who gets what. But hey, that's still nearly $40 off which is still great. I was going to buy this at the original discount of $250 since it's still a good buy IMO.

I bought the 15" with Powerload but without LineIQ. I've now realized that the reason I hated edging/trimming was my terrible gas trimmer. This works incredibly well.

I had read the LineIQ might jam up and be a pain point so I didn't bother. But I seem to need far less line with this than my gas trimmer.

I got this same weedwhacker 1.5yrs ago, paying $270. Been very happy with it, except I'd like better control of the line feed. Sometimes it gets annoyingly short before releasing addt'l line. Performance is great, and I love not having to mix gas or trying to keep another engine running.

THIS RIGHT HERE! Rep to you good sir!

I DESPISE when the line gets too short so I bump as needed. Would find that really annoying to wait for it to come out and be really short. Is there no way to manually feed that out of it happens?
