By the way, I own 4 of these exact 24-outlet strips and the mounting brackets are all METAL and NOT PLASTIC like the description says. All the models that are smaller than the 24 outlet strip have the plastic mounting bracket.

The box it comes in is also 6 feet long, so be prepared for that because this thing is 5 and a half feet long.

I own 2 of these, use one in my garage on my workbench and use one in my office, mounted to the backside of my desk. Well worth the money at twice the price.

Any idea on the clamping or response speed or let-through voltage? Can you post a photo of the 'tag' for the specification for the one that you own??

Interesting... Looking at the photos and the comments with the photos. It looks like the ones with plastic ends are terrible and very prone to breaking. Also plastic outlets/clips can come loose when unplugging things which with the way the thing is designed can cause a short which is bad in multiple ways (fire an/or shock).

One comment stated that only the 9 & 12-outlet have the metal end-cap/brackets. While the 16 & 24-outlet units have plastic end-caps.

Only seeing the 9, 12, and 16 as well. Someone might've hogged them all.

No, the 24 outlet has metal brackets and it's the same kind of metal as the rest of the outlet - an aluminum/magnesium alloy. I have 4 and I know firsthand they're metal brackets. The outlets are fine and do not pull out. The entire thing is a high quality object in all respects. It looks and feels high quality.

Just a guess, do you have a business account? Or some in-limbo business/personal prime account?

I have a regular prime account and don't see the option for 24 plug either.

Agreed. Definitely metal brackets on the 24.
