A neat row of grill marks is aesthetically pleasing, but I honestly think this device would work better, including imparting better blackening/caramelization (i.e. more and better flavor), if it was simply flat on both surfaces.
Supposedly cast iron pans with ridges are actually the same trap. Looks great, but results in inferior/less taste. Caramelization tastes great. You want more than just the stripes caramelized.
The deal is indisputably slick at this price, regardless.

Yeah I noticed I had a periodic $5 BB credit waiting that I often just let expire. So mine cost less than $4 out-of-pocket, lol. I believe my comments about the ridges being counterproductive, but the price is crazy cheap.

Almost pulled the trigger with this fantastic pricing but ... I remembered I had an airfryer that does an amazing job at cooking burgers. Still tempted at the $8 price tho.
