You are thinking of the C model.
77C3 is $2,975.00

I would love to be wrong and find a 77G3 for $2900, but you have fallen victim to the classic blunder of mistaking the C3 for the G3. I wish LG would have picked a different letter that is more obviously different when distinguishing model types.

$2836.99 is one of the best prices I've seen for the 77G2, if that is what your setup could use. But it isn't for everyone, and hence the inevitable confusion and needless discussion.

It is much better than the C3 in many ways. Whether it is worth paying extra for depends entirely on your priorities. For most consumers it is not worth paying extra for the G-series when the C-series is already so good.

Deal was only valid for 15 mins or so. Was at video only trying to work out a deal for a 77 G3 that's listed for $2,799 then this deal popped up so I left

Just pulled the trigger on this and immediately having buyers remorse, I've been wanting the c2 and seen it go to as low as 2-2.3k for the 77inch. I pulled because the c2 has been on backordered for weeks and possiby won't come back since c3 is out. C3 is way too expensive while g2 is better than c3.

I placed the delivery for next week in case a better deal comes along this week and I can cancel it

Do you guys think g2 will come down even further or is this the best deal to come?
