These used to be in the $5-$7 range as recently as October / November, many of which included the large cubes or multi-size sets. I wouldn't call this a deal.

I own these; they're great quality and I've had them a few years now. Used them on probably 100+ trips, all with no incident. My only wish is that they condensed after being closed. I'm considering purchasing more just to have that feature.

Echoing this. For an Amazon Basic product it holds up well, granted you treat it well. I'm a heavy packer and mine have held up for many years of traveling.

What do you pack in these little ones? I bought them on a previous slickdeal, but they only fit like 3 pair of socks...

Bought mine in 2018, wash after each use on delicate cycle then air dry, still holding up fine.

I have a set of the slim cubes- I get about 6 pairs of XL socks in each (more if there are thin dress socks in the mix) and
/or about 5 extra long ties. But yes, these are an odd shaped packing cube.

I have some compression ones and the feature seems worthless. It just squeezes the edges a little bit but the middle is the same. It doesn't allow any more to fit because the non compression ones will still fit in the same space anyway.

Actually, maybe my compression cubes are worse because there's extra bulk from another set of zippers and extra fabric.

The slim ones serve absolutely no purpose. do you want to get the various sized ones - one for T-shirts, undies, socks. I use them on every trip I go on a highly recommend.
