With UST projectors, you CANNOT use regular screens. Well, technically you can but the natural waviness will make the image not project clearly. Long throw doesn't have this issue because of its projection angle. You need either a flat wall or a stretched screen, thats why people think UST are blurred or uneven but it's actually the projection surface

Reviews have a lot of complaints on blurriness. Any one have this and run it at the full 150'?

Chris Majestic on YouTube liked this projector but heads up it's even lower resolution than standard UST pixel-shifting 4K common in other models like the Hisense PX1 and PX1-Pro. He says you might not notice it but aficionados would.

Waiting on a true 4K version to replace my Dell s718ql. This hits everything else I'm looking for. The same throw ratio, almost as bright but more settings to adapt to the room and no rainbow effect! However reading about its slight lack of clarity tells me to keep waiting.

100%.

I have the "vava" version of this - when it was a kickstarter, back in 2019. I went through dozens of screens from Da-Lite to cheapy stretchy fabric. all were mediocre.

Eventually I got an ALR screen from X-Y screens... it was from china and took a while, but was a game changer in quality.

It won't rival an OLED screen, but beats most regular LCD type screens.
