You skipped an OS again, so that's now $121 more than this Legion.

I don't think anyone is arguing that building your own is better and usually cheaper but it's not for everyone, sorry if that is so offensive to you?

I think so too. Waiting for the peanut gallery's comments before pulling the trigger.

I'm sure "yOu CaN bUilD 4 lEsS" is 1-2 comments away (this person will assume you already have 1/2 of the components and OS laying around though).

I may be in the minority here but I need a copy of Windows, so your build ends up being $68 more than this Lenovo. No one ever includes Windows in their builds.

Is it worth it, probably but some of us need Windows and don't like sketchy key sites.

Why does it have a 5700G with a 3060 ti is my only question.

Why do you ask that? Because the 5700G has integrated graphics or something else?

Yes, it's their integrated gpu processor so it seems odd it has discrete and integrated graphics.

The case is very well ventilated, so you're good on that. It has RGB if you're into that. It has good storage and a good processor and a 3060ti with good RAM. For the price, it's not bad. The components are aging though. It should still handle 80% of today's tasks and gaming titles at high settings.

Who knows, doesn't hurt anything though. Some people might actually prefer that because they could sell the GPU and still have a decent PC.

I tried building myself an AMD5 DDR5 build today at pcpartpicket and I was at $640 just with the cheapest processor, 16 GB DDR5, and mobo I could find paired with 8 GB 6600, and that wasn't with a case, psu, storage or windows...

I bet the answer is something like Lenovo just had a pile of excess stock of 5700G's to use.

I'm not a gamer but I do keep a lot of windows open at a time ...
would this be a good choice for me or should I get something less expensive since I'm not a gamer but it seems like financially a really good deal for the specs?

Get something cheaper. No reason to get a PC with a GPU if you're not gaming

For the "Peanut brain" up there: this is guaranteed 15%+ more gaming performance out of the box.

- 5700x>5700g

- 6700XT 12GB>8GB

- 256GB Nvme is a damn shame in 2023 Makes this $800 "gaming" build utterly worthless .

Btw, the 5700x goes for $152 shipped all day long. I actually recommend the 5600 for $100 shipped for a brand new build.

At the end, people buy whatever the hell they want.
