This one is higher in raster performance but yours has useful features like DLSS 3 support... It depends on what you value

For the uninformed, if the inferior power efficiency and larger GPU size isn't an issue for you, the 6950 XT spanks the 4070 in raster and even matches it in RT. Also 16GB is going to age better than 12GB.

Unfortunately this is not eligible for a price adjustment due to the Zip Pay discount. Those of us who bought above this price days to weeks ago are stuck with it. Still a GREAT card though! And SO quiet!! Huge upgrade from my 3080 in performance and thermals.

Wow, higher perf than 3080?? I just took home a 4070 FE for $515 new from BB. Did I make the wrong choice?

Hey Deals4Svi,

If the promo code is applied in cart before checkout, it'll automatically be removed during the checkout process if your default payment is anything other than Zip Pay. Be sure to edit your payment method to Zip Pay and then manually enter the promo code afterwards.

The 4070 at MSRP is a 6% $/fps generational improvement vs. 3070. It's one of only TWO cards that improved $/fps in the 4000-series generation. Given that the h.264 vocoder is MUCH better on the 4070 for popular websites such as twitch, you still have a good value at $515. I personally think AMD is catching up to NVidia, but the previous generation cards run loud and hot and you have one of the most beautiful and efficient and $-worthy cards of the 4000-generation, so be proud that you got one for less than $599 !! If you hadn't got your card at $515, the 7900xt at $705 is an excellent value and better than yours in most respects ...

ZIPTECH is a one time use coupon fwiw. Went with this and the ASRock Steel Legend B650E mobo ($202.39 after discount), which will be paired with a Ryzen 7700x.

Decided to go this route over the 6800 XT or 7900s. The 6950 XT runs all but a few games in 4K at 60+ FPS, and gets close to 120 FPS in 2K. Comparison videos I watched show its barely a step down from the 7900 XT. Should hold me off until the RTX 4090 is under 1k or AMD has a 120 FPS 4K capable GPU.
