think the better analogy would be something like, why drive a luxury car when you can drive a honda/toyota for cheaper. they both have the same functionality.

people can spend their money however they want; they don't need to justify their reasons.

Great watch! Good price for new! All those bashing clearly don't represent those that have bought the AT and made it such a popular watch. Great value for co-axial and master chronometer. This is not the newest gen though…

I'm fairly certain that as long as its legit (and it should be with a serial number), you can send it to Omega for $650 for a complete overhaul/tune up etc. So if you are willing to take the risk and acknowledge a chance of having (or wanting to do that), this could still be a good deal?

edit: $650 was a price I saw a few years ago may have went up
