Sweet Jesus, what do you eat? I only use TP to dry.

Yep, I've had the same observation. I've installed a few manual Luxe bidets for family I got off Amazon for like $50 and also bought a $350 electronic bidet. The manual Luxe bidets from Amazon have crazy pressure, you can blast it to give yourself an enema if you want. The electronic one is okay but no where near the pressure of the manual bidets. I believe it's because the manual ones simply use the water pressure from your home's plumbing whereas the electronic bidets have to warm the water first then use a built in pump to spray you off. The built in pumps the electronic bidets use are normally not super powerful so weaker water pressure than your home's plumbing.

The electronic bidets I've read that have the most pressure is the bidebidet models BB2000 and older BB1000. The only issue is the customer support from biobidet has seem to gone downhill recently based on amazon/online reviews. Also, alot of people complain about their quality not up to par like Toto. I like the Toto K300 the most for an electronic bidet but their warranty is only 1 year and water pressure is just okay.

Bio bidet is the gateway bidet... Toto is the standard Smilie

I recently upgraded to a se500... Nothing else exists now.

Same. I'm also in the manual > electronic bidet camp. You will never get the fine control and simplicity of a literal ball valve from one of those luxury electronic bidets. I've used both (a $$$$ Toto Washlet and a simple $35 Luxe bidet) and for me the Luxe wins by a mile. That said, I don't care about heated seats/water (though to be fair unless you're running a train on your toilet an unheated will be comfortably room temperature anyways), so if those really matter to you I understand why you'd splurge.
Honestly, the heated drying function is the only things I really care about in the electronic bidets. I just can't give that up and never use any of the other functions.

I'm pro bidet as they are nice and work but....

....damn, some of you need more fiber in your diet! Metamucil (or similar) is your friend. Do that every day and many o' times you'll be like Ted from 'Something About Mary'. After wiping, you'll look at the paper and wonder where the hell everything went.

Oh, also invest in a squatty potty.

Honestly I would pass. I have a similar version purchased from Costco a couple of years ago, and it hasn't held up well.

First, the heated seat went out. So I contacted their customer support and paid for a replacement seat which I installed myself.

Then, the quiet-close mechanism in the lid broke.

Also, the water pressure sucks.

I want a unit that feels like a fireman's hose up my ass.
You need a dedicated bidet ceramic bowl bidet next to your toilet, not in a seat. I had one in my house that was built in 1970. It had great pressure.

I think I would be using a brush or something disposable to clean dogshit off my shoe.
Lol, I certainly wouldn't use my hands to clean dog dung off my kicks like Mr. Civilized. I would probably use something that produces a strong blast of water.

Because Costco carries BioBidet for years we have had 10+ units amongst family members, and all have gone bad due to bad seals or pump, and all have been replaced with Toto (the Costco model) or higher models and still rocking.

It's costco, so we can use it and return it? Are there any refurbished deals for those with specks of dirt?

I no-joke returned a used bidet to Amazon many years ago. It leaked, what can I say? I like to imagine Jeff Bezos himself was the one to unpack it.

I have two - this one is great with one minor negative and that is the pressure isn't as high as my second one.
Its because this one does not have a heated reservoir - its the instant heating arrangement and for that to work the flow is restricted.

My second one with the water reservoir can deliver higher pressure but it will run out of heat if by the end of the cycle.

Pretty sure bidets aren't meant to get rid of the use of tp lol.. You use less tp for sure and it's cleaner.. Also I've had the 6800 for years now and it works just fine.
Also hate to out it out there but in a lot of the Asian countries, they don't depend on just the force of water but also use you had in co-ordination with the water to clean Wink

Pay a little extra and get Toto. The 2 Bio Bidet that we bought broke right after the warranty expired.

I have the pro version that I got last year when it was also on sale. We really like it, in fact we recently got a second one for our powder room that is identical from woot.

Some have asked if it completely replaces TP. You definitely need TP for drying. To get it to do a good job of cleaning , it takes some practice, think moving around a bit , and pushing out while the jet is doing its thing.c

Does one stop using toilet paper with this innovative marvel of technology and science?

TP is getting very expensive even at the wholesale clubs.
I definitely use less… 3 squares for 2ply and 6 for 1 ply. Fold into a square, wipe the pucker. Fold in half, wipe leftover water. Fold in half again, wipe the pucker again and I'm good to go. If I'm having a taco Tuesday kinda business I have to rinse and repeat.. meaning "rinse with the bidet again". My apologies if that's too detailed. 🤷 ♂️
