I ended up calling my local Costco. They said they don't have the black one in stock. We already have one (which is black) that I wanted to setup as a pair, so didn't want two different colors.

I was able to price match at Best Buy, not ideal, but that should work for anyone needing midnight (Black)

Nice! But I didn't think Best Buy, or most retailers, would price match Costco or any members only warehouse. How did you get them to do that?

EDIT: NM, looks like BB does price match Costco. I got them to, but the invoice they sent was for the white one. When I asked them to change it to black/midnight, which was the BB SKU I gave them, they said since Costco had it OOS, the only one they could price match was white. Wouldn't budge. Oh well.

As someone that has four of these (2 OG and 2 new gen), only buy them if you use iPhones and iPads to stream and you don't care about Siri. I have her set cooking timers and tell me if it's going to rain.

The audio quality is excellent for this size, though.

Does the 2nd gen destroy furniture finishes like the first gen did? I really want one to try- but I don't want to have to leave it on a cork or felt coaster all the time.
