I own this exact compressor and got the aluminum one over the steel for 2 reasons. The AL one is significantly lighter (bit over 10 lbs) and most importantly far less chance of corrosion inside the tank vs steel.

I got the steel one ages ago super cheap. 10/10 awesome compressor especially if you'll be working in the same room while it's running.

For $25 more I'd spring for aluminum for the safety of not rusting and going boom in 15 years
