We were members of the YMCA as a family before this. Our local 24-hr fitness has nearly all of the same things (workout machines, free weights, pool - just no gym). Anyway, if the membership lasts for 2 months, they we are in the black on this deal !!
There is a $24.99 annual fee (this goes towards maintaining the infrastructure) that is charged after 33 days in the program. The price seems to vary between $25 and $27 per month depending upon location. Overall, $324 (my price) for a 1-yr membership would be a deal even WITHOUT the buddy pass feature !!
