A really solid game, and reasonably priced too. Easy to learn. Great for families to play. Beautifully put together game.
The Chocolatier Version I believe is just a fancier looking version of the base game. After the $5 discount for spending $30+ on a game, you can spend the extra $6 on a fancier version if you want.
Azul is a fun game that isn't too hard to learn. My wife doesn't like board games very much, but she enjoys Azul.
My mom, who's elderly and wouldn't be able to do a complex thinky game can play Azul pretty well and enjoy it. Even my dad, who will rarely play games, will occasionally join in for Azul.

My mom's the same and has such a difficult time with point scoring in Azul but other than that she seems to enjoy playing it.
I'm thinking of picking up one to donate to toys for tots.
I just bought it, it comes with a plastic overlay to keep the tiles and scoring cube in place. I think it comes with variant boards too, but I was sold on the plastic lol.

For people who are unfamiliar, Azul: Master Chocolatier is just a retheme of the original. Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra is largely the same as the original with slight rule twists.
Azul: Queen's Garden is somewhat more different and is considered a separate game.

Can the Master Chocolatier edition be expanded with expansions or do you need the original version to do so?

Anyway, I recommend this one. My whole family plays it. Although I personally prefer the Stained Glass version.
