Just as a heads up, this is the older version. It's still a great camera. If internal 6k and better autofocus is important, step up to the s5 ii. Otherwise, this is still a fantastic camera.

This camera is great, bought one used off FB marketplace locally a few months back and the low light performance is insanely good compared to my Lumix G7 with equivalent lenses. I shoot a lot of concerts in bars and nightclubs and it really made a difference to my pics and vids

I jumped on the Lumix S5 + 50mm lens for 1298.00, how does that compare to this deal? are the 20-60mm and 85mm lens worth the upgrade?

Depends on your shooting style.. 85mm for portraits and kit lens for other stuff.. 85mm Retails for $500 i think..

I wanted to sell my Sony a6400 and accompanying Sigma lense trio to get this set but quite a number of photography folks said I should stick to what I have since autofocus on this Lumix is a bit lackluster.

I do wish I could afford a full frame camera but Sony and it's glass is just so expensive.

This is a very capable camera. The autofocus is not up there but everything else is amazing. I have had this for a year now and switched to manual lenses with better optics. Focus peaking and manual assists make shooting with manual lenses a breeze. Also not many know this. This is one of the very few digital camera to have a xpan crop 65x24. I pulled the trigger just for this aspect ratios. You can be a different "kind" of shooter with this and develop your own style.

I believe most of the autofocus issues with the S5 is regarding AFC in video. For photography, the AF is really good. But most people buy Lumix cameras for video, so when they complain about AFC issues, that's the mode they are talking about.

I love the S5 high res mode. took some incredible photos of the moon earlier this year.
