One of the better deals I have seen on a well specced 3070ti laptop from a known brand. Nice find.

Only ding I can see is it is not a full power 3070ti, but benchmarks show this thing is still rocking pretty decent FPS.

I have an MSI GT75-VR [msi.com]. tldr; it has an 8GB 1070 and i7 6820HK CPU. 17inch screen (which I love).

It's a beast but haven't had any issues yet. Plays Halflife Alyx VR on high settings with no issues.

Would this laptop be a worth-it upgrade? And also, how are the thermals. That's one of the main things that led me to my current laptop. It has great cooling.

I got this laptop for 875 and have regrets already. It runs SUPER hot. 84-89c for games like 7 days to Die, League of Legends, Counter Strike. It runs even hotter for more demanding games like Cyberpunk, topping off at around 96-101c before throttling. You're gonna have to under volt this guy.
