Sorry, I have to disagree with this. Amazon comingles inventory in their warehouse with 3rd party sellers. You may have an easier time getting a return if it's sold by Amazon, but sadly you're not guaranteed to get one that goes from Samsung > Amazon > You.

I have read that Amazon has locked down over the past few years on having fake cards mixed in with the cards sold and fulfilled from them directly. I've bought two with no issues, maybe I've just been lucky.

Yes. 3rd party sellers have the option as to whether they would like to co mingle, but sold and shipped by Amazon is exactly that. Amazon is selling it to you, and they're shipping it to you. There's no claim of origin in that statement. If the warehouse nearest to you, has an item in stock that was sent in by a 3rd party that opted to comingle and Amazon's own stock is 0, guess what you're going to get?

I would get it if you're at all interested. Summer sale is going on now and a great price for the 64 gb version. I ordered mine over the weekend and is shipping out today. Just grabbed this card and I'll be set to go.

You should consider replacing the internal storage with an NVME SSD while you are at it.

Nah. I didn't get a deck for top games. Mostly older niche games so a SD card will be plenty for me. Reading speed is very similar on a SD card so not worth the hassle of opening the deck.

Too easy to warp the back plate or have an issue with a screw or have a small gap that doesn't close all the way or a top trigger that doesn't work the same after.

I feel pretty confident in my ability to swap the drive but there's very little benefit in my situation. For others I would totally get a 1tb internal drive for $100.

Yes, I have just heard nearly everyone saying the 64gb isn't fast enough (or big enough). But its hard to pass that deal up. An Anbernic isn't much cheaper and the Steam deck is far superior.
