I bought this exact model a year and a half ago for $40. Definitely worth it at that price. I would buy it at $55 as well. It works perfect for washing cars, cleaning decks, outdoor furniture, etc. I also got the Greenworks surface cleaner attachment for the driveway and it works great with it. You won't win any speed races but it gets the job done at a reasonable price and no gas engine to worry about, especially when it's for occasional use.

ANY pressure washer is good enough for that. Even if "your car has a bunch of caked on mud, dirt or grime" - there was no need to state the "unless" in the previous comment, in fact those are the situations in which this unit would be MOST helpful, not unhelpful! Honestly the biggest danger -- even for a relatively unpowerful one like this -- is using too much pressure / too narrow a nozzle / getting too close, if you screw that up you can damage the paint job.

Going further, I would say this is probably the best application for this unit, out of the box. It's disappointing that there are only 25 and 40 degree nozzles included; a 15 degree one would have been very helpful to have too, given the (relatively) low PSI, for things like concrete. Does anyone know, would there be any issue buying a 15 degree nozzle separately and using with this?

ADDED: Answering my own Q, from searching Amazon Q&A:

Q: Can this pressure washer use a 15-degree nozzle tip? If so, are they available for sale?
A: Yes, you can use a 15 degree nozzle tip. You can contact us at 1-888-909-6757 for further assistance. However, the connection is 1/4 inch quick connect for the nozzles.
By Greenworks Tech in the United States on March 18, 2022

Q: Is there a Compatible ausolating head available for this pressure washer
A: Our turbo nozzles have an oscillating feature that goes 0-15 degree. The item is: 5201402.
By Greenworks Tech in the United States on April 6, 2023

Q: Can you use other hose attachments (wands, nozzles, etc.)?
A: Yes just like a regular pressure washer it uses standard wand, nozzles and tips. It comes with 25 and 40 degrees I suggest buying a 0 and 15 degree to increase the PSI

To summarize all the recommendations in this thread, do I understand it right that to make your car wash expereince more enjoyable with this pressure washer you need to buy these accessories?
Tool Daily foam cannon ($22): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D9ZD18T
Meguiar's Gold shampoo ($9 for 64oz): https://www.amazon.com//dp/B0009IQXFO/
Flexzilla 50' hose ($32): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BV6PD5VQ/
M Mingle quick connects ($22): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DTBC67D

Total with the pressure washer is about $140 plus tax.

What type? Mud or just light wash?
Pressure alone won't tell you everything, the angle of the tip is generally more important since it's more about how much pressure is being apply to a given area not how much pressure is being generated. a 3000PSI unit with a wide angle tip may apply very low pressure to a spot with whereas a 1600PSI unit with a super tight angle tip may apply a higher pressure even though the unit is producing lower. If we compare apples to orange the PSI is pointless to know, we would need to know what tip each setup is using. If it is too weak get a tighter angle, too strong get a wider one.

If you sort reviews by recent for this model on Amazon, there are a lot of 1 stars. Looking for something similar & typically like Greenworks but personally going to hold off on this and hope something better pops up.
First, there are one star reviews for every pressure washer on amazon (and if there are only 4-5 star reviews, that may be a sign that the reviews are fake/vine - seriously, I was looking at a "no name" brand that had almost fifty reviews and none below 3 stars, when I filtered out the vine & nonverifed purchases, there was only one review left, one sentence long!)

Secondly, at risk of putting it indelicately - a lot of one-star Amazon reviewers are morons or gripers. Looking at those for this product, one complaint is that they thought the attachment was a foam cannon (it never claimed to be), another because he couldn't use a bucket as a water source, at least two had a missing part and was unhappy they were put on hold when they called, another two claim there is no more pressure than just a hose, one says he can get more pressure by putting his thumb over the hose -- does he even understand the concept of different nozzles?! if you put your thumb over a narrow nozzle, you won't have a thumb anymore! And so on, I didn't feel like keeping going.

Seriously, the 2 and 3-star reviews are, on average, usually WAY more meaningful as useful critical reviews. This product has 8% 1-star reviews, 2% for 2-star (w/ another complaint about a foam cannon not included), 6% for 3-star

I bought this RYOBI 1900 PSI 1.2 GPM Cold Water Wheeled Corded Electric Pressure Washer [homedepot.com] at Home Depot for $109 after taxes last week. Is this Greenworks PW as comparable to the Ryobi? If so, then the Greenworks will save me almost half the price.
I would keep Ryobi. It has good construction to add hose reel for convenience.

I have this, effective most part but bought higher PSI unit. I would recommend go for 2000+ PSI instead.

I had this for about 3.5 years and worked great then the metal welds broke at the water intake. With the turbo nozzle tho it did a good job of cleaning my driveway/deck etc.

Thanks, yeah already had it in my cart, but I was trying not to lead my question. So you have used this with the greenworks unit in this deal, no complaints?

Yeah, I have no complain with pressure washer. I just ordered flexzilla hose and McKillan stubby gun as well as set of quick connectors. Greenworks hose started to kink badly and it's pita to use. https://a.co/d/idYw1yh

I have the 1800 PSI 1.2GPM Ryobi pressure washer and it definitely struggled with certain bits of road grime that a higher PSI pressure washer didn't struggle with, hence the question.

If it is just to wash your car, in general, your statement is correct.

I bought one of these at $65, not bad, but I believe my first use nearly killed it as the motor started to sound a bit off near the end. I'd recommend their more expensive models if you plan on doing anything more than small areas at a time.

1600 psi is also plenty for most people, it's capable of cleaning off a deck or patio just fine.

Heads up that there is also a deal on a more powerful SunJoe today, for about twice as much $:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...ed_title_2
Beware from buying Sunjoe. That junk stopped working for me. Purchased 2022/04, used 2-3 times to wash patio and windows. Tried using this June, that damn thing don't work. Paid $129 something for 2800 PSI model.

I can second this! I've purchased this YEARS ago, I believe 2018 or maybe even EARLIER!

It's still working til this day. I DON'T use this everyday, nor every week, but once every few months to wash my car and pressurewash the driverway and etc.

I also had their greenworks surface washer, it's AIGHT at best. THAT didn't last me very long unfortunately. I think my stepfather who borrowed it was very abusive that caused it to prematurely fail, but it was bound to fail eventually anyway, as it was made of plastic where the splitter spins around on the surface cleaner.
