Mine went through. I missed the Amazon deal a few hours ago, honestly happy to give my money directly to Western Digital.

You may resize/expand the partition by using any partition editors like "MiniTool Partition Wizard" or "NIUBI Partition Editor"
I've never used Macrium(?), but I've used ddrescue to clone an ssd to a larger ssd more than once. I simultaneously have gparted running to ensure I have the correct disk names as origin and target.

After the cloning operation is finished, I direct gparted to reload the drives. When I do that, gparted detects that the drive is larger than the gpt partition table indicates and asks if I want to fix this. Simply clicking "Yes" does the business.

Good luck!

Yes. Sabrent's EC-SNVE with 10 Gbps, Orico's M2V0-C4 with 40 Gbps (expensive).
Haha, I have both NVME enclosure and the 40Gbps one is more expensive than this.
But it is still much cheaper than buying the 2TB model of MacStudio.
I even install the MacOS on the external NVME enclosure and it runs perfectly.

Same Aug. 9th here. I will keep it for a while. Will switch to a better deal if any. I think we can always cancel it before it's shipped.
Correct, I was able to go into my orders and cancel immediately. No idea why the confirmation page says you can't cancel. Maybe prices will go up but I doubt it.

WD just refunded the $23 price difference so anyone who filed a ticket should be receiving the refund soon (the chat rep told me they got lots of refunds and tickets to process).

Mine shipped yesterday so should be getting it soon.

why would that be a waste of speed? you buy a shitty drive and u save like $10 bucks. We are not talking about moving word doc here, imagine u work with video files dumping 100gb back and forth all day.
Just asking a question. Slower 2TB NVME drives are like $25 less not taking into account any cashback. How much faster will this drive be in a portable enclosure than the ones that cost less? Also does it make sense to get a drive that runs cooler for a portable enclosure?

How do you get 7% back by picking slower shipping? I've never seen that offered to me before.

If you have Chase Amazon credit card, when you check out, it'll have the option if you select slower shipping.

Mine shipped, says arrives Monday July 17th. Also my paypal cashback didn't go through so I contacted PayPal and the rep said when it comes to cashback there may be a 2 week delay on my end 🤷🏽 ♂️

Each time I check the website, the button only says "notify me when in stock", no back-order option.
